I hear wedding bells!
Colbie Caillat

—I Do

This is my absolute favorite song at the moment. I Do by Colbie Caillat!

The Ball

The ball tonight in Meryton was a great success! All of my lovely daughters attended, and Mr. Bingley and his guests did as well! I was ecstatic to see that Jane danced with Mr. Bingley TWICE!! He even commented that Jane is the most beautiful creature he has ever beheld. I really hope they hit it off! I would be delighted to hear that they got along and that he wishes to pursue her. Just think of those two together, it would be a match made in heaven! Mr. Bingley, who is a wealthy young gentlemen, is a perfect companion for my dear Jane. I cannot wait to see how their relationship unfolds, and if all goes smoothly I may be planning a wedding soon. I can envision it now; Jane in an exquisite dress, Mr. Bingley looking dapper, the guests having a grand time, a wonderful cake, and beautiful decorations. I have it all planned out in my head and I will go into detail some other time but now..

I have a bone to pick with Mr. Darcy. When the wonderful Mr. Bingley suggested that he dance with my daughter, Elizabeth, he replied, “She is tolerable, but not handsome enough to tempt me”. Well, excuse me Mr. Darcy. How could someone who seemed to be such a gentlemen turn out so rude and arrogant? I do not care how much money one has, it never gives them the right to be rude to a lady. Especially since he is obviously visiting town to find a wife. His actions were a big mistake because now many in town seem to dislike him. Why can he not be more like Mr. Bingley?

                                                                                                      Sincerely,

                                                                                                    Mrs. Bennet

I think this dress would be lovely for Jane or Elizabeth to wear on their wedding day! I cannot wait!

My Plan!

My daughters need to marry ASAP! If they do not they will be left on the streets with no home…and I will not have planned any weddings!! This absolutely cannot happen. To prevent this mortal embarrassment I am going to make it my top priority to get these girls a husband. Jane, being the oldest, will have to be first on my list because she has the least amount of time left to marry. I heard a wealthy man, Mr. Charles Bingley, has rented a house nearby in Netherfield Park so maybe I will try to get him to fancy Jane. There is a ball coming up soon in which the girls will attend. I hope to see Mr. Bingley dancing with one of my daughters there. Oh, that would make me so happy! After all, It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife. I really do hope I am able to find my daughters a wonderful husband. Until then, I will just have to keep dreaming about the wedding and hope for the big day to finally come!
