Save The Date!

I hear wedding bells!

HE POPPED THE QUESTION!

JANE IS MY FAVORITE DAUGHTER!!! Bingley finally proposed! He got her alone after a day of shooting with Mr. Bennet and told her that he wanted to marry her! I knew this day would come and I could not be happier for the two of them. Not only did she find a man, but she found a fine, young, wealthy, gentleman! Also, because of this lovely engagement everyone in the neighborhood has forgotten about the Lydia and Wickham issue and they are now ecstatic over this amazing news. It has truly been a great day.

It keeps getting better!

Not only is Lydia married, but Mr. Bingley has returned! He came to visit today and I did every I could to make him feel welcomed! Oh how great it would be if I could get him to marry Jane! He came for the dinner and sat right next to Jane! He seemed to be quite taken with her too. This is lovely! Then he visited again so we invited him for dinner and he accepted a dinner invitation for the next day. He must have been excited to come too because he came over so early the girls were not even dressed yet! That day I tried to leave to two alone so he could propose to her, but alas he did not. I was upset but I hoped he was waiting for a different time to ask her…

MY FIRST DAUGHTER IS MARRIED!!!!!

I AM SO HAPPY NOW! LYDIA IS FINALLY MARRIED! My brother informed us in a letter that he found Lydia and Mr. Wickham and Mr. Wickham would marry Lydia if given a payment. The two will be visiting and staying in our home before they leave to travel up north. I cannot wait to see the newlyweds and plan a celebration for them! I am so happy and relieved to finally have a daughter who is married!! Lydia is by far my favorite daughter now! I finally have a place to live when I am older!

Not only has Lady Catherine criticized my parenting, but now Mr. Collins is too! I absolutely cannot believe it. He wrote us a letter saying that our parenting is poor, Lydia is unworthy of our love, and that her poor behavior reflects upon us. I am outraged by what he said.

We received another letter which informed us that the look for Lydia and Wickham has ultimately failed so far and that my husband is on his way home.

My husband and my brother have traveled to look for Lydia and Mr. Wickham and I sure hope they are able to find them, if they cannot I do not even know what I will do!

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.

I Cannot Believe Ears!!

It has just been brought to my attention that Lydia has run of with Wickham and possibly eloped! What does she think she is doing?? Does she not realize the affect her actions will have on her sisters, and me!! This is an embarrassment to our family. If she has not yet married Wickham, and if she has not made any plans to marry him then this is affecting her as well. She will have a very hard time finding a man to marry her after she has pulled this stunt. This is all she will be known for, running off with a guy! Also, she will make it hard for her sisters to marry (as if it has not been hard enough!) because no one will want to marry into a family with a lady like her. Finally, since none of my daughters will marry I will have no where to live in my old life. I also believe Colonel Forster is to blame as well! If he had kept a closer eye on Lydia none of this would have happened. I absolutely cannot deal with this right now!

Lizzy has finally returned from visiting Mr. Collins and Charlotte! I am very pleased because I did not want her to be with Lady Catherine any longer; I still cannot get over what she said! Anyway, now Lydia will not be leaving. She was invited to visit Brighton by the wife of a Colonel Forster. This sounds like a lot of fun for her, and it gets better! She will be accompanied by many young men on this trip, which could mean a husband!! I sure do hope so! I know many of you may think this could be a terrible idea to have my young girl travel with many young men but my husband assures me that the colonel will keep her out of trouble. I sure do hope she comes out of this with a potential husband! I need my daughters to marry, I mean where else will I go when my husband dies?!
